Single Sign-On for IDrive® Enterprise
Accessing SSO enabled IDrive account
Once SSO has been enabled for a sub-account, during login, instead of prompting the user to enter a password, they will be redirected to IdP. The IdP will then handle the authentication by asking the user to login to IdP via a username and password.
If the user’s credentials are correct and successfully validated by the IdP, the user will be redirected back to IDrive as an authenticated user.
Linking computers and mobile devices
Once SSO is enabled for an enterprise account, users can access their data from anywhere by logging in from the web, mobile or desktop application. However, users must update their desktop or mobile IDrive application to the latest version for single sign-on to work.
