How do I use Synology with IDrive Cloud?
Backup your Synology NAS devices with IDrive Cloud via Hyper Backup. The Synology version DSM 6.2.2 has been assessed and validated with Hyper Backup. Follow these Synology instructions and refer to the configuration tips below to use Synology with IDrive Cloud. In the below instance, IDrive Cloud’s Oregon(us-west-1) storage region has been used.
- For backing up Synology data to IDrive Cloud, select S3 Storage.
- Specify the Backup Destination Settings parameters to create a backup task. Ensure to use the endpoint https://s3.us-west-1.idrivecloud.io/.
