    Integrate Couchdrop with IDrive® e2, and Migrate Data from Azure Blob using Movebot

    Couchdrop is a cloud-native platform that simplifies secure B2B file transfers and file-based automation by connecting a wide range of file transfer protocols with popular cloud storage services, without the need for infrastructure or hardware management. Integrating Couchdrop with IDrive® e2 extends these capabilities with a scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud object storage solution, while Movebot enables fast and reliable data migration from Azure Blob to IDrive® e2 for systematic file management and automation.

    Prerequisites

    Before you begin, ensure the following:

    1. An active IDrive® e2 account. Sign up here if you do not have one.
    2. A bucket in IDrive® e2. See how to create a bucket.
    3. Valid Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Learn how to create an access key.
    4. A valid Couchdrop account and Movebot console.

    Configure Couchdrop with IDrive® e2 using Movebot

    1. Log in to the Movebot web console and click Project Manager.
    2. In the Projects screen, click Create Project.

    3. In the Project creation window, enter a name for the project and select migration type from the list. Click Save and Configure Source.

    4. In the Source tab, select your Azure Cloud account as Source, then click Save and Configure Destination.

    5. In the Destination tab, select S3 Compatible as the Connection Type.

    6. Enter your IDrive® e2 details as mentioned below.
      1. nter a name for Storage Connection.
      2. Enter your IDrive® e2 S3 endpoint as S3 Compatible Endpoint URL.
      3. Enter your IDrive® e2 Access Key as S3 Compatible Access Key.
      4. Enter your IDrive® e2 Secret Key as S3 Compatible Access Key Secret.
      5. Enter your IDrive® e2 Bucket as S3 Compatible Bucket (Optional)
      6. Click Save and Test Connection.
      7. Click Save and Close once the connection is successful.

    7. Select the added connection as the Destination from the list click Save and Next.

    8. Select what you would like to migrate and click Save and Continue.

    9. Set Rules as per the requirement and click Save and Finalize.

    10. Click Save and Exit.

    Add Transfer and Migrate Data from Azure Blob

    1. Select Project and click Transfers in the menu.
    2. Click + Add Transfer.

    3. Select the corresponding transfer type from the list.

    4. Select Source and folder from Azure Cloud, then click Choose Destination.
    5. Select the Destination and folder from IDrive® e2, then select Options.
    6. Click Save Transfers.

    7. Select Transfer from the list after it has been added successfully by clicking the check box.
    8. Click Run Action to start migration. The migration will begin. You can verify migrated data in your IDrive® e2 bucket, which is added as the destination.
