Integrate AvePoint Opus with IDrive® e2

AvePoint Opus is an AI-powered information lifecycle management platform that automates data classification, retention, archiving, and governance across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other repositories. Integrating AvePoint Opus with IDrive® e2 enables you to extend these capabilities with a scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud object storage for optimized data management and compliance.

    Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following:

    2. A bucket in IDrive® e2. See how to create a bucket.
    3. Valid Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Learn how to create an access key.
    4. A valid AvePoint Opus account.

        1. SignatureVersion: By default, Cloud Backup uses V4 authentication to access your storage. To use V2 authentication, add SignatureVersion=V2 into the extended parameters.
        2. RetryInterval: Customize the retry interval when the network connection is interrupted. Enter any positive integer between 0 and 2147483646 (the unit is milliseconds). For example, RetryInterval=30000 means that it will try to reconnect every 30000 milliseconds. If you do not configure this parameter, the value is 30000 milliseconds by default.
        3. RetryCount: Customize the number of reconnection attempts after the network connection is interrupted. Enter any positive integer between 0 and 2147483646. For example, RetryCount=6 represents that when the network connection is interrupted, it can reconnect at most 6 times. If you do not configure this parameter, the value is 6 by default.
        4. CustomizedMetadata: Configure if customized metadata or user-added metadata is supported. By default, customized metadata and user-added metadata are all supported. You can also set the value to Close, SupportAll, or CustomizedOnly.
      8. Retain archived data: Based on your bucket settings, this option allows you to set a retention period for archived data and specify whether to delete or move the data to another storage location.
    5. Click Save to save your storage profile.
    6. Select your IDrive® e2 cloud storage and then click Set Default.
