Integrate Dalet Flex with IDrive® e2
Dalet Flex is a media workflow and digital asset management platform that helps broadcasters, studios, and content teams manage, produce, and distribute media efficiently across channels. It offers flexible workflow automation, deep metadata management, and seamless integration with editing tools and cloud environments to support scalability and collaboration in complex media operations. Integrating Dalet Flex with IDrive® e2 extends these capabilities with a scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud object storage solution, enabling systematic and efficient handling of large-scale media assets.
Prerequisites:
Before you begin, ensure the following:
- An active IDrive® e2 account. Sign up here if you do not have one.
- A bucket in IDrive® e2. See how to create a bucket.
- Valid Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Learn how to create an access key.
- Dalet Flex instance deployed (all versions support integration with IDrive® e2).
Configure Dalet Flex with IDrive® e2
- Log in to the Flex instance.
- Click Settings, select Resources, and then click New.
- In the Create new Resource window, enter a Name for the Resource and select Storage Resource as the Plugin type.
- Provide the following details in the Configuration tab.
- Select S3 as the Protocol.
- Enter your IDrive® e2 bucket as Bucket.
- Enter your IDrive® e2 S3 endpoint as Hostname.
- Enter your IDrive® e2 Access Key as Key.
- Enter your IDrive® e2 Secret Key as Secret.
- Click Save.
- To use the resource in a workflow, select it as the destination for a Copy or Move action.
