Integrate IDrive® e2 storage as an S3 Compatible Target Service in the Aparavi Platform

    Aparavi is a data intelligence and automation platform that simplifies data management with no-code workflows for compliance, retention, and data hygiene. By integrating with IDrive® e2, businesses can use scalable, secure S3-compatible cloud object storage as a target to automate background copy actions and extend data workflows with reliable, cost-effective storage.

    Prerequisites

    Before you begin, ensure the following:

    1. An active IDrive® e2 account. Sign up here if you do not have one.
    2. A bucket in IDrive® e2. See how to create a bucket.
    3. Valid Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Learn how to create an access key.
    4. A valid Aparavi account.

    Integrate IDrive® e2 storage as an S3 Compatible Target Service in the Aparavi Platform

    1. Log in to the Aparavi Platform
    2. Click the Policies Tab, located in the top navigation menu.
    3. Click the Targets sub-tab.
    4. Click Add Target to add a new target.
    5. Select S3 Compatible from the Add Target list and enter the following details for the target.
      1. Enter name for service
      2. Select Region from list (Keep default for e2)
      3. Enter your IDrive® e2 S3 endpoint as URL (https://r4a6.or5.idrivee2-75.com)
      4. Enter your IDrive® e2 Bucket as the Bucket
      5. Enter your IDrive® e2 Access Key as the Access Key
      6. Enter your IDrive® e2 Secret Key as the Secret Key
      7. Keep both Encryption and Compression enabled (You can also disable them if needed)
      8. Click Validate to validate your S3 credentials
    6. Click OK once validation is successful.
    7. Click Save All Changes in the Targets tab after adding the target successfully.
    8. Click OK on the Confirmation popup.
