Transmit

Manage files on the internet using the 'dual-pane' view of the Transmit from any Mac. Create S3 Access Keys with your IDrive^® e2 account and use these to establish a connection in the Transmit application.

To access IDrive^® e2 using S3 Access Keys,

1. Install and launch Transmit 5.
2. In the Quick Connect section, select Amazon S3 as the protocol.
3. Enter the endpoint URL, Access Key ID, and Secret Access Key values obtained from the Access Keys section of the IDrive^® e2 account. Know more about Access keys.
   
4. Click Connect. Once the connection is established, the cloud storage will be displayed on the right-hand side and you can transfer files/folders from the local device to the cloud and vice versa.

Note: Data restoration is handled by your specific backup solution provider and is affected by multiple variables that are unique to your environment. For application-related enquiries/support, it is strongly recommended you seek guidance from the technical team of your backup solution provider.
