How to Restore QNAP data from IDrive®

Easily restore your QNAP NAS data from IDrive® using HBS 3 - Hybrid Backup and Sync.

Follow the steps in this guide to restore QNAP NAS data from IDrive®

  1. Open the QNAP App Center and launch HBS 3 – Hybrid Backup Sync.
  2. Go to Backup & Restore.
  3. Click Create and select Restore job.

  4. Select Amazon S3 & S3 Compatible as the source storage space.

  5. Choose IDrive and click Select.

  6. Enter job name and description.
  7. Choose Source.
    1. Restore from Backup job: Restores data using an existing job, and automatically import related settings.
    2. Restore from Destination: Restores data from a specified destination
      Restores data from a specified destination
  8. Set up a schedule to automate restores if required or click Restore Now.
    Click restore now
  9. Configure a job policy if required.
  10. Verify the details in the summary and click Create.
  11. Selected data will be restored from IDrive to your NAS device.
