About the Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to ensure the quality, usability, and consistency of user interfaces across web and desktop applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to identify UI issues, validate design implementations, and deliver a seamless user experience across platforms.

As a Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that applications meet high standards of visual quality, functionality, responsiveness, and accessibility before release.

What you will be doing:

UI/UX validation & testing

  • Test web and desktop applications to ensure UI consistency, responsiveness, and functionality across different platforms and devices.
  • Verify implementation against design specifications, wireframes, mockups, and style guides to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
  • Validate fonts, colors, spacing, layouts, icons, interactive elements, and overall user experience.

Functional & regression testing

  • Perform functional, regression, and visual testing before releases to ensure application stability and quality.
  • Identify, document, and track UI defects, usability concerns, responsiveness issues, and alignment inconsistencies.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility across various environments.

Collaboration & quality assurance

  • Work closely with developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to resolve interface-related issues efficiently.
  • Participate in release planning, QA reviews, sprint discussions, and testing cycles.
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, checklists, and defect reports.

Accessibility & usability compliance

  • Ensure applications adhere to accessibility standards and usability best practices.
  • Evaluate user workflows and interactions to improve overall product usability and customer satisfaction.

What we expect from you:

  • 5 + years of experience in manual testing for web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and visual consistency standards.
  • Hands-on experience in identifying UI defects, usability issues, and design inconsistencies.
  • Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and screen resolution testing.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with UI testing tools and a good understanding of automation testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and usability testing methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in agile development environments.

Education

BE/BTech or any relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Good to have

  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks and scripting.
  • Understanding of accessibility compliance standards such as WCAG.
  • Experience working in agile/scrum-based product development teams.
  • Knowledge of mobile responsiveness and adaptive UI testing practices.
