Integrate Netgear ReadyNAS with IDrive® e2
Netgear ReadyNAS is a network-attached storage (NAS) device that allows you to store, organize, and share files on your own private cloud, while also backing them up to offsite cloud services such as IDrive® e2. For more information, visit the Netgear ReadyNAS website
Prerequisites
Before storing Netgear ReadyNAS files in IDrive® e2, you require:
- An active IDrive® e2 account. Sign up here if you do not have one.
- A bucket in IDrive® e2. See how to create a bucket.
- Valid Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Learn how to create an access key.
- A Netgear ReadyNAS account.
Set Up Netgear ReadyNAS with IDrive e2
- Sign in to ReadyNAS and select Cloud.
- Set the Amazon S3 slider to ON.
- In Amazon S3 window, enter the following details,
- Configure the following as required:
Upload Chunk Size / Storage class / Upload & download bandwidth limits / Download sync interval / Server-Side Encryption. - Click Create.
- Browse and select the Local Path and Cloud Storage Path you want to sync.
- Set the required Sync Direction (Bidirection, Download cloud storage changes only, or Upload local storage changes only)
- Click Create.
