- Define and document backup and disaster recovery standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Implementation & management:
- Lead end-to-end deployment of new backup systems and migration from legacy platforms.

Collaboration & leadership
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in backup architecture and best practices.
- Create detailed documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks for operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging data protection technologies and industry best practices.
What we expect from you:
Experience & technical expertise

- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise backup environments.
- Hands-on proficiency with at least two major enterprise backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, Dell EMC Data Protection Suite).
- Strong understanding of deduplication technologies and disk-based backup systems.
- Expertise in virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, including integration with backup systems.
- Programming experience in C, C++, C#, and Go.

- Solid grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, WebSocket) relevant to data transfer and backup operations.
Skills required:
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
