By using the Exclude tab, you can exclude files/ folders from being backed up to your IDrive account.



In the following ways, you can exclude files/folders :

• Files/folders with full path names: Exclude files/folders based on their complete path
• Files/folders with partial names: Exclude files/folders based on their partial names, file formats, etc

Steps to exclude files/folders via their full path names:

1. Click  and select the files/folders.
2. Click Add to exclude list.
   
   
   

Steps to exclude files/folders via their partial path names:

1. Provide the partial name of the file/folder in the  field.
2. Click .

Note: By entering the file extension, you can also exclude files of a specific format. For e.g. if you want to exclude all .pst files then you need to enter .pst only.
