Local Backup
IDrive encrypts all your important files using 256-bit AES encryption while storing them to any local destination, such as external drives or mapped drives.
To perform a local backup,
1. In the Backup tab, select Backup files to Local, Wi-Fi or Express device.
By default, IDrive selects your critical files/folders for backup.
2. To add or remove files/folders for backup, click Change ...
3. Click and select a location to backup your data to the local drive.
4. Click Backup Now.
5. Click Schedule to set date and time for future backups.
You can also perform local backup for your SQL Server databases, Exchange Servers, SharePoint Servers, Oracle Server databases, System State data, and Hyper-V virtual machines.
