For quick initial backup of several gigabytes of data, IDrive
will send you the IDrive Portable hard drive within two business days, once you place the purchase order* using the shipment form.
Just plug it into your computer via USB cable, perform the initial transfer of data and ship it back to IDrive. Ensure that appropriate packaging material is used before dispatching the IDrive Portable hard drive to us.
Once we receive the hard drive, the data will be transferred to your online account and the IDrive Portable drive will be returned. You can continue incremental backups through the Internet, using the IDrive online backup application.
Process for Restores is similar. Data will be transferred from your account to the IDrive Portable drive and will be shipped to you within 2 business days, once you place the purchase order* using the shipment form.
