  • Versioning - Unlike the snapshot or the archiving features that are usually present on most other products, IDrive-E presents genuine file versioning with file/document history retention for up to 30 backed up versions. Each backup creates a new backup set identified by a particular backup date and time

  • Mapped drive - IDrive-E supports backup of mapped drives. The backups will continue even if you logoff from the system if you have chosen the NT Service mode while installation

  • Add to Backup set from anywhere on Windows Explorer - Right click option on the local drive to ease users to add files/folders directly to the IDrive-E scheduled backup set or perform interactive Backup Now from a single click from Windows Explorer

  • Scheduled backups take place even during System logoff - Backups continue even under the system lock/logoff state when the application has been installed in the NT service mode - and system will automatically power off after completion of scheduled backups

  • Open and Locked File Backup - IDrive-E does reliable backups of open/locked file data. Backup of files including Outlook files (.pst), QuickBooks, MS-Excel and more

  • Sync feature - This helps you to bring the contents of your IDrive-E account to exactly the same as those that exist on your 'My Computer' - for the selected files/folders existing on your IDrive-E account
